[54:30] | First up, a Harvard business student who did something most dealers are too scared to do: Andrew Reutsky audited a dealership's ad spend the way you'd audit a financial statement — tracing every dollar to actual sold VINs. His headline number? Somewhere between 45 and 62% of that spend had no defensible link to profit. One store, one quarter — but wait until you hear what he says it proves, and what he refuses to claim.
[35:38] | Then we bring in Eric Frehsée, President of the Tamaroff Group, a third-generation Detroit-area dealer. Those pandemic-era cars are rolling back in buried in negative equity — and now loans are getting written against older vehicles while LTVs climb all over again. So when a deal hits his desk today, what scares him more? Eric tells us.
[10:00] | And Spencer Webb, General Manager at Audi Salt Lake City, fresh off two years on Audi Financial Services' dealer council. His store stacks volume and consistency across variable and fixed ops — but there's one operating habit inside those walls he says outsiders completely underestimate. We're going to find out what it is.
